Dual education is a system of interconnection of vocational theoretical education with the practical preparation of a pupil. The empirical study analysed data from two courses on digital competence at the Faculty of Arts, Masaryk University. ACTIVITIES AND POPULARIZATION ACTIVITIES IN THE FIELD OF TECHNICAL EDUCATION IN THE CONTEXT OF HIGH SCHOOLS (AGE 15) SELECTION

The presented article deals with the level and the character of popularization of technical fields and its influence on pupils of elementary schools while choosing their career. The current situation of technical education popularization was analyzed by the research survey on different levels – from the point of view of schools, regions and the state. Subsequently, the questionnaire survey of elementary school pupils revealed the extent of popularization activities influence on the interest of pupils (15 years old) in the last year of elementary schools in technical field studies at high schools.

FEMALE STUDENT ACHIEVEMENT USING EDMODO IN THE ELEVENTH-GRADE ECONOMIC GEOGRAPHY CURRICULUM IN OMAN

This study investigates the effectiveness of using Edmodo to teach the economic geography curriculum in Oman to improve eleventh-grade female students’ learning outcomes, using an experimental pre-posttest design, with experimental and control groups of 24 and 28 female students (respectively). An achievement test of economic geography was used to collect data. The results showed that using Edmodo significantly increased female students’ achievement.
