POSSIBILITIES AND BENEFITS OF USING 3D MODELLING SOFTWARE IN PRIMARY SCHOOLS
- Univerzita Palackého v Olomouci, Česká republika
The aim of technical or polytechnic education and training is to develop the skills of the students in the use of working tools and machines, to acquire a working culture and to acquaint them with the scientific principles of contemporary production. At present, these objectives are further developed by the use of digital technologies to support these activities. One of the manifestations of these trends is the increasing interest in 3D modelling, which is becoming an integral part of the teaching in some primary schools. The aim of this research work was to map, on the basis of pedagogical research methods, the use and benefits of 3D modelling in selected primary schools, including a systematic description of specific tools for the implementation of such focused teaching.
Keywords: technical education, innovation in education, 3D modelling.
