AB  - The models and the modeling have the irreplaceable role in the process of information systems development. Sophistication of the modeling techniques, methodologies and the complexity of modeling tools allow to create complex models. The main purpose of this paper is to provide the proposed classification of models (and set up a framework for discussion about the modeling). The approach is based on the author's efforts to accent the systemic view of issues compared with traditional concept of "technical" modeling and provides a framework for discussing the modeling of both practical and theoretical level.
