Thus, in recent years, the so-called substance addictions that have been part of the youth of previous decades have been declining considerably, while non-substance addictions, which immediately include addiction to computer games, have been on the rise. For this reason, a research investigation was carried out to determine the frequency of the prevalence of netholism among young people. In this investigation, we were able to show that even in a sample of Czech children and adolescents, it is possible to identify a group that has a high frequency of gaming and is therefore susceptible to a high level of netholism.
