AB Today, there are countless pitfalls that occur in the online environment, and one of the most abundantly at risk groups are children and adolescents who grow up in the online world. Thus, in recent years, the so-called substance addictions that have been part of the youth of previous decades have been declining considerably, while non-substance addictions, which immediately include addiction to computer games, have been on the rise. For this reason, a research investigation was carried out to determine the frequency of the prevalence of netholism among young people. In this investigation, we were able to show that even in a sample of Czech children and adolescents, it is possible to identify a group that has a high frequency of gaming and is therefore susceptible to a high level of netholism.
