Therefore, in our article we focus on online and offline digital tools that are also useful in the teaching process. These modern tools help nurture students' creativity and can be referred to as creative applications.The first part of the article is devoted to the concept of creativity, its essence, creative thinking and the importance of creativity in human life. We also list several methods and techniques of creative thinking and methods of motivation of different authors who are dealing with this issue. The second part of the article is aimed at clarifying the importance of teacher creativity and a short description of selected digital tools usable in teaching. An important part of the article is the evaluation of a questionnaire survey conducted among teachers in Slovakia based on the implemented training in the field of digital tools in the classroom. The goal of this teacher education was to familiarize teachers with online and offline tools in teaching and subsequently assess the current state in this area. ER
