The aim is to present the theoretical foundations of technical creativity of primary school pupils and, subsequently, present partial results of the pilot mapping of teachers' approaches to the implementation of creative technical activities in the context of gender. With respect to the planned curriculum changes and the creation of a new concept of an appropriate educational content of technical education, we tried to find out if and how teachers operate with individual preferences of pupils according to their gender. Eventually, applying a research probe, we identified the most important factors influencing the pupil's interest. ER
