That is why new demands are placed on the teacher in this modern teaching paradigm. However, the question is whether schools or teachers are able to use ICT tools in teaching, as the availability of the later are also a prerequisite for their use in the process of education. The main objective of this research is to describe the current state of the use of ICT tools in the education process at Czech schools, using the methods of educational research. The paper summarizes selected partial results of realized research, which show that, at least in terms of ICT tools and by electronic learning materials, schools seem to be adequately equipped.
