AB  - The article deals with the issue of the informal and non-formal education in the context of technical education at basic school. In the theoretical part, the authors synthesize educational theories and theories of field didactics with the ways of their application and approaches important for a good cooperation in the union of formal, non-formal and informal education, while its content is technology and technical activities. As a follow-up to the theoretical basis, the aim of the article is to present results of the research and to call attention to the contribution of the informal and non-formal education to the technical education of basic school pupils.
