Not all of standards have been developed to help teachers and pupils to fulfill the educational goals and become supportive for the pupils´ assessment. Therefore, National Institute for Education has created a new expert commissions for educational areas. Their role was to review the educational standards and to propose changes resulting from their verification in selected schools. The article presents the results of a theoretical analysis of innovative educational program for technical education at primary school in Slovak republic and also presents results of empirical research of teachers´ and pupils´ attitudes toward technical education.
