AB  - The research, which is described in the article, is focused on the creative abilities of students on basic schools. It is a transversal research of creative abilities of second grade elementary school students. Research study was also targeted to academic groups with which students can get into close contact. The aim of the described research was to map the level of technical imagination (creativity) by means of shape-folding test, measurement the practical intelligence test, and level of creative thinking using Torrance figural test of creative thinking.
